Fleet

In 2002, Aerogal acquired a Boeing 727-200 Advance for 149 passengers, and in December 2003 started flying to Baltra, Galpagos. It was the first time a private airline had flown five days a week to this destination.

Since then, Aerogal has added the following airplanes to its fleet:

• 2003: a Boeing 737-200 (HC-CED) for 118 passengers.
• 2004: a Boeing 737-200 (HC-CEQ) and a 737-200 (HC-CER), both for 129 passengers.
• 2005: a Boeing 737-200 (HC-CFH) for 120 passengers.
• 2006: four Boeing 737-200s (HC-CFG) (HC-CFM) (HC-CFR) (HC-CFO) for 120 passengers each.

As part of a commercial agreement between Aerogal and Synergy Group (Avianca, OceanAir, VIP) the airline will receive a number of new airplanes to launch routes to new destinations. International destinations such as New York, Madrid, Lima and Panama are being considered.
