Federal Airline, formerly also known as Pelican Air Services traded as Federal Air, is an airline based in Johannesburg, South Africa, specialising in shuttle, scheduled and charter services across Africa. Its main base is O.R. Tambo International Airport, Johannesburg, with hubs at Vilankulo Airport, Mozambique; at Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport in Nelspruit, Arusha and Lake Manyara, Tanzania and Harare, Zimbabwe. Federal Airlines offers the only daily flight from Johannesburg and Kruger-Mpumalanga International Airport (Nelspruit) to the resort town of Vilankulo in Mozambique (Bazaruto archipelago). Using ATR42 aircraft, guests arrive at Vilankulo from Johannesburg in two hours. Very important for the top game lodges in the region are the aviation shuttle services by Federal Air. It's charter division offers one of the largest and most flexible aircraft fleet in the region.
