The Midwest American Society of Travel Agent’s (ASTA) hosted their 33rd annual Summer Travel Fest this month in Davenport, IA. Janet Ulve, Director of Global Account Management at Hahn Air, was one of many travel professionals from the surrounding area attending the event at the Hotel Blackhawk. The event included an informal reception followed by a trade show and brief program which included supplier presentations and drawings for prizes.
ASTA is the world’s largest association of travel professionals and seeks to share knowledge, professionalism and representation throughout its travel agent members. The group works to maintain a profitable and growing travel marketplace.
“Events like this provide Hahn Air with a great opportunity to gain exposure among travel agents in strategic regions of the US,” says Ulve. “Meeting travel agents face to face is an effective way for us to build a trusting relationship with our current and prospective travel agent network.”
