Aeromexico announces direct flights to Cancun and Los Cabos
The Mexican national airline, Aeromexico (AM), will start serving two new direct flights from Guadalajara (GDL) to Cancun (CUN) and Los Cabos (SJD).
Air Mauritius to serve Johannesburg
Air Mauritius (MK), the flag carrier of Mauritius, announced direct flights between Mauritius (MRU) and Johannesburg (JNB), set to begin on October 1st. MK851/MK852 will depart on Fridays. From November 5th, Air Mauritius will operate a second weekly flight on Sundays.
Blue Bird Airways launches flights to Vienna
Blue Bird Airways (BZ), a Greek airline with a base in Heraklion (HER) available in GDSs under the H1 code, has launched flights between Tel Aviv (TLV) and Vienna (VIE).
Condor now serves Split
The Frankfurt-based carrier Condor (DE) now offers flights between Munich (MUC) and Croatia’s second largest city, Split (SPU).
Nordwind Airlines begins service to Athens
The Russian carrier Nordwind Airlines (N4) has added Athens to its list of destinations this month. Its new flight from Krasnodar (KRR) to Athens (ATH) and vice versa is available once a week on Mondays.
Porter Airlines returns to the skies in September
The Canadian carrier Porter Airlines (PD) announced that it will resume operations on September 8th. The initial group of domestic destinations will include Halifax, Moncton, Montreal, Ottawa, Quebec City, St. John’s, NL, Thunder Bay and Toronto. U.S. destinations in Boston, Chicago, New York and Washington will follow on September 17th.
Sky Express brings passengers to London
SKY express (GQ), an H1-Air partner with a base in Heraklion (HER) in Greece, has introduced flights from Athens (ATH) to London Heathrow (LHR) and vice versa. GQ’s services can be booked in GDSs under the airline’s own two-letter code as well as under Hahn Air’s H1 code.
Sky High Aviation Services expands its route network
Sky High Aviation (DO) of the Dominican Republic, available in GDSs under the X1 code, has launched new services from Santo Domingo (SDQ) to Antigua (ANU), Port au Prince (PAP) and Tortola (EIS).
UTair Aviation offers flights to Novy Urengoy
UTair Aviation (UT), a Russian airline based at Khanty-Mansiysk Airport (HMA), commences flights between Grozny (GRV) and Novy Urengoy (NUX).
TAG now expands its offerings this summer season
The Guatemalan airline TAG Transportes Aéreos Guatemaltecos (5U), available in GDSs under its own two-letter code as well as the code H1, has launched two new routes from Guatemala City (GUA). It will now serve four weekly flights to Cancun (CUN) and five weekly flights to Tapachula (TAP).
