Hahnair announced that it has recently signed an interline agreement with Greater Bay Airlines. The new partner, based in Hong Kong, joins Hahnair’s leading network of more than 350 airlines and is available for ticketing under the HB code on the insolvency-safe HR-169 ticket in the Amadeus, Infini, Sabre and Travelsky GDSs. Travel agents can use the standard reservation and ticketing process of their GDS when booking and issuing HB.
Established in 2020, Greater Bay Airlines (HB) is a new Hong Kong-based (HKG) carrier that started services in July 2022. The airline focuses on providing exceptional value and services across Asia. The airline's route network currently covers seven distinguished destinations, including Bangkok (BKK), Ho Chi Minh City (SGN), Manila (MNL), Osaka (KIX), Seoul (ICN), Taipei (TPE) and Tokyo (NRT), however, the airline plans to expand into many other popular destinations in Asia, including China. The airline's fleet, indicative of its commitment to operational excellence, is composed of seven B737-800 aircraft and is expected to expand to ten aircraft by the end of 2024.
