Insel Air has expanded its GDS presence with Hahn Air Systems. The national carrier of Curaçao is now available in all GDSs and 190 markets under the two letter code H1. Its flights can issued by 95,000 travel agencies worldwide on the Hahn Air HR-169 document via the standard ticketing process in all GDS.
Insel Air is already an interline partner of Hahn Air and as such available for ticketing on HR-169 documents in many markets under its own two-letter code 7I.The Dutch Caribbean carrier based at Hato International Airport (CUR), Curaçao currently serves 21 destinations throughout the Caribbean, South and North America.
“The substantial costs and challenges of global distribution have previously prevented us from taking our business to a global level”, says Jurgen Lippinkhof, CCO of Insel Air International. “With the economical and efficient solution provided by Hahn Air, we now have access to 190 markets and 95,000 travel agencies worldwide.”
