Hahn Air will co-host a roundtable discussion at the upcoming Global AirRail conference in Helsinki, between the 9th to 11th November. Attracting over 150 high level air-rail professionals, the conference will focus on the growing passenger intermodality segment between air and rail. This includes physical infrastructure integration, innovations in travel booking and planning, improving passenger experience, as well as forming new partnerships between the two industries.
Head of Hahn Air Systems, Alexander Proschka will represent Hahn Air and jointly host this roundtable discussion with Travelport’s Director Planning and Programmes, David Classey. The discussion entitled “Marketing air-rail solutions via Agent Training – airline to railway” centres around an online simulator that agents can use to educate themselves about train information they are providing travelers. In partnership with Travelport, this Hahn Air developed simulator aims to increase the accuracy of information provided and as such agents will be more confident to sell and therefore increase retail sales.
