Hahn Air, the global ticketing distribution provider,
recently launched its first official presence on WeChat, the ubiquitous Chinese
mobile application. By expanding its social media presence, travel agents in
China can seamlessly connect to the world Hahn Air from their mobile devices.
WeChat
began life as a messaging platform similar to WhatsApp, but now does much more.
As well as being a social network, it also allows users to shop online, book taxis,
make restaurant reservations and order food through its mobile payment system
WeChat Pay. Respectively, travel agents can now receive regular updates
about Hahn Air’s latest products and services, as well as stand to win
attractive prizes by participating in competitions.
“With more than 1billion monthly active users, we felt
this was an amazing platform for us to connect with Chinese-speaking travel
agents in a market with great potential.” said Kimberley Long, Vice President
Sales and Agency Distribution.
To take advantage of this platform, travel agents can
download WeChat on their mobile devices from the App Store or Google Play.
