As of 1st June 2019, Ignacio Giorgi will assume the role of Hahn Air’s dedicated Director Global Account Management for Argentina. Hahn Air’s step towards stronger presence in the region signifies the importance of the Argentinian market and the whole region. Primarily responsible for Argentina but also Bolivia, Chile and Uruguay, Ignacio will support travel agents with sales and marketing activities, including trainings and presentations on the company’s ticketing services. He takes over from Cristina Ortiz, who was temporarily supporting the market out of her base in Mexico over the last year.
Armed with a bachelor’s degree in Tourism, Ignacio has gained valuable experience in the industry working for the Argentinian tour operator “Principios” as a branch manager. He has also held various positions with Thennat Travel S.A.. Besides his mother tongue, Spanish, Ignacio is fluent in English and Portuguese, and has basic German language skills.
