Hahn Air Systems and Qingdao Airlines signed an agreement allowing the airline to be distributed under the H1 code in all major GDSs worldwide. As a result, travel agencies worldwide can now book the third Chinese H1-Air partner via their standard GDS reservation process and issue tickets on the insolvency-safe Hahn Air document using the standard GDS ticketing process.
The Qingdao-based carrier, Qingdao Airlines, was founded in 2013. From its base at Liuting International Airport (TAO) it flies to over 40 destinations in four countries with an all-Airbus fleet of A320-200 and A320-200N aircraft. Its Economy, Premium Economy, Business (on international routes) and First (on domestic routes) class services are available for booking and ticketing under the H1 code.
