8 September 2015

Hahn Air Lines was formally accepted as a member of the Airlines Association of Southern Africa. By partnering with the leaders of the aviation industry as well as senior public and Government officials on policy and regulatory matters, AASA is the leading representative airline organisation within Southern Africa.

AASA engages in operational, safety, security and financial issues affecting the overall profitability of the airlines and their continued sustainability. AASA also leads and coordinates the airline industry position on airport, airspace and civil aviation issues, as well as consumer legislation, environmental and tourism matters and provides responses to media queries.

As Hahn Air’s Vice President, Airline Business Group, Steve Knackstedt mentioned “By joining the AASA we will increase our presence in the region and forge stronger relationships with regional partners working towards effective solutions and developments for the Southern African aviation industry. We are looking forward to a successful cooperation.”
