Hahn Air recently celebrated achieving a milestone number of insolvency-safe tickets issued. Through its comprehensive insolvency insurance called Securtix®, Hahn Air guarantees travel agents that their clients are automatically insured without any extra costs in the event that a flight issued on an HR-169 document is cancelled due to the insolvency of the respective operating airline. Securtix® guarantees a refund of the unused portion of the ticket and compensation for a new ticket, plus accommodation, and other expenses for stranded passengers.
This service was introduced in 2010 and to date more than 25 million insolvency-safe tickets have been issued around the globe.
