As of 1st June 2019, Hahn Air will hand over the care of travel agencies in Germany and Austria to Ralf Masermann. Masermann has been working in various positions at Hahn Air since 2009. As Director Global Account Management for Germany and Austria, he will support travel agents on how to use Hahn Air’s ticketing solutions to increase their sales. In addition, he offers them with training and presentations as well as targeted sales and marketing activities.
Ralf Masermann takes over the duties from Gerhard Pilop, who is retiring. "We are grateful to Gerhard Pilop for his tireless commitment," said Kimberley Long, Vice President of Sales and Agency Distribution at Hahn Air. "Over the last seven years, he has been the face of Hahn Air in various European markets and has been instrumental in shaping our profile. Thanks to his commitment, we have been able to significantly increase our awareness and expand the use of our products by the travel agents. At the same time, we wish Ralf Masermann a successful start in his new tasks. As a sales specialist with many years of experience, I am sure he will do an excellent job supporting the travel agents in these markets."
Ralf Masermann has more than 35 years of experience in the airline industry. Prior to joining Hahn Air, he worked in various sales and key account management positions, including Northwest Airlines, Finnair, Jet Airways and oneworld Alliance. Since 2009, he has been a Director Global Account Management at Hahn Air and has been one of the contact persons for travel agencies. In addition to supporting the travel agencies in Germany and Austria, Ralf Masermann will continue his role as Vice President TMC.
