Head of Operation
The good working atmosphere and the teamwork
What I do
I am the head of the Operation Division at Hahnair. My division incorporates the following departments: Information Technology, Product Management & Implementation, Service Desk and Second Level Support. We take care of the operational side of business at Hahnair and Hahnair Systems including the implementation of our airline partners and the 24/7 Service Desk support for travel agents.
My way to Hahnair
I began my career with an apprenticeship in a travel agency and also worked as a travel agent for one year. After that, I held various positions at LTU for almost ten years in different areas of the company, for example helpdesk, GDS Management and e-ticket implementation. In 2008, I joined Hahnair where I started as a project manager where I was responsible for implementing our interline partners. Later, I took over the department leader position which paved the way to my current role.
What I like about Hahnair
I like working for Hahnair because the company has a unique business model and is a global player in various areas. Thinking outside the box combined with the flat hierarchy allows us to get things done quickly.

What I do
I take care of incoming refund applications via BSP link and verify flight coupons according to the IATA regulations. I also check the calculation of fares in the Global Distribution System Amadeus, issue ADMs and ACMs and communicate with travel agencies as well as airlines in German, English and Polish.
My way to Hahnair
After completing my A-levels, I did an apprenticeship as a construction engineer and worked for four years as assistant in an architectural office. In 1997 I started working for the Polish airline LOT within flight handling and later in ticketing. After 16 years at LOT, I started working at Hahnair.
What I like about Hahnair
I enjoy working with colleagues from different countries and appreciate the many opportunities of personal development. We can work freely and independently and receive recognition and support from our supervisors. I like that Hahnair puts a lot of trust into their employees.

What I do
I lead and coordinate all airline implementation projects for Hahn Air's products including HR-169, H1-Air, X1-Air, HR-Corporate, etixportal.com, HR-InstantPay and HR-EMD with my team.
My way to Hahnair
I studied Business and Languages at the University of Reims Champagne-Ardenne in France and spent one year at Universidad de Castilla La-Mancha in Spain. My first role was at HomeAway.com where I worked in the field of online travel and e-commerce for four years, first as Operations Manager for the UK market and later as Content and Community Manager for the EU markets. I joined Hahnair in October 2012 as e-commerce Project Manager. In 2020, I had the great opportunity to take over the role as Head of Product Management & Implementation.
What I like about Hahnair
Hahnair is a company which has been very successful these last few years and has grown a lot, yet I still feel that I know everybody and decisions are made quickly, thanks to a flat hierarchy, which is important for my job. As a mother of three young children, I also love that Hahnair offers an excellent work-life balance. Thanks to flexible working hours and the possibility to work remotely, I can focus on both, my career and my family.

Manager Second Level Support
In my free time I do gymnastics at a local club in Langen. I also enjoy travelling around the world and discovering new countries and cultures.
What I do
As part of the Second Level Support Team, I am in close contact with our H1-Air and X1-Air partner carriers. Loading their flight schedules into the Global Distribution Systems and offering support whenever they have any technical questions or issues is part of my daily work. Furthermore, my colleagues and I work closely with Hahnair’s Service Desk to ensure excellent customer service.
My way to Hahnair
Born and raised in the Dreieich area, I have known Hahnair for a long time before I actually joined the company. In 2016, I had the opportunity to start my career in the aviation industry as a Dual Student. I studied aviation management at the Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences which offers this education in collaboration with Hahnair. After finishing my studies, staying with the company was a logical next step for me.
What I like about Hahnair
There are so many things to mention. What I like most about Hahnair is the intercultural environment in which we are working every day, as well as the company’s generosity. I also really appreciate the fact that I can be myself at work.

What I do
As Business Intelligence Developer I am responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions. This includes utilising various tools for data processing and analytics. I also handle query execution for specific data requests and present information through reports and visualisations to support decision-making for our business teams and management.
My way to Hahnair
I pursued a degree in business informatics at Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences. While studying, I gained practical experience as a working student at Enterprise Rent a Car. After graduating, I took on the role of Reporting Analyst, maintaining the reporting platforms and tools for the company in Germany. In November 2018, I joined Hahnair as Business Intelligence Developer, initially as part of the Controlling Department, and later transitioning to the IT Department.
What I like about Hahnair
There are several aspects that I appreciate, such as the supportive and collaborative working environment and the company’s activities in terms of Corporate Social Responsibility. Mainly, however, I am thankful to be a part of a company that prioritises its employees' well-being and success.

I like authentic people to hang around with, music, dancing, reading, good food, movies, and fun outdoor activities. I also like giving back to girl children and engage in social causes as much as I can.
What I do
As Regional Vice President, I look after Travel Agencies in English Speaking Africa. I help them to optimise their revenue growth, understand their opportunities with Hahn Air and take advantage of our easy solutions.
My way to Hahnair
With my love of travel, tourism & aviation and with my passion for my continent, Africa, I found myself working for a General Sales Agency in Johannesburg. The agency represented Hahnair as one of its airlines. I fell in love with everything Hahnair represented, and I insisted that the solutions needed to be made available to the rest of Southern African as well. This got the attention of Hahnair’s Head of Agency Distribution and the rest is history, as they say: on 1st June 2009, I joined Hahn Air.
What I like about Hahnair
I like that at Hahnair we have so many nationalities, cultures and ethnicities (real diversity) but we are still one big family. We move in one direction to achieve what is most important to us: giving excellent service to our clients. We are always learning, pushing against all odds, working hard and we still have fun together.

What I do
I lead a team of software developers within our Research & Development Division. We’re responsible for connecting airlines to our platform and developing new software solutions using the C# .NET tech stack. We found that working with agile methods works best for us since it lets us prioritise our project tasks and collaborate well across the team.
My way to Hahnair
After completing my dual studies in computer science at the Hochschule Darmstadt in 2013, I looked for job opportunities as a Software Developer. A friend of mine, who was already working at Hahnair at the time, recommended me to join the company – and so I did. In 2019, I got the opportunity to take on the role of Team Coordinator and one year later I became the Team Lead of our DevOps Team.
What I like about Hahnair
I like that Hahnair focuses on innovation and encourages me to contribute my ideas and make an impact on the solutions we offer. Also, the benefits are great. The ones I personally appreciate the most are our regular team and company events, flexible working hours as a big plus for my personal work-life-balance, the childcare allowance covering part of my children’s day care fees, as well as the annual extra payments. Also, I really enjoy working with people from all over the world, both within my own team and cross-departmental.
