Coastal Aviation is the latest carrier to be displayed in all major GDSs under the two-letter code H1. As a partner of Hahn Air Systems the flights of the Tanzanian airline can now be booked and issued on the insolvency-safe Hahn Air HR-169 ticket by more than 95,000 travel agencies in 190 markets.
Coastal Aviation is based at the Julius Nyerere International Airport (DAR) in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. The safari airline offers flights to many remote destinations within Tanzania, such as Arusha (ARK), Kilimanjaro (JRO), Kilwa Masoko (KIY), Mafia Island (MFA), Pemba (PMA), Seronera (SEU), Tanga (TGT) and Zanzibar (ZNZ). Coastal Aviation flights are operated with a Cessna C206, a Cessna C208B and a Pilatus aircraft.
