Hahn Air Systems introduces speed-alliance®, which brings international high-speed railway connections under the 5W code to major Global Distribution Systems (GDS).
With the two-letter code 5W, speed-alliance® gives over 91,000 travel agencies in more than 190 markets the opportunity to book high-speed train services in the same GDS display as airline connections.
Electronic tickets for 5W can be issued on an HR-169 stock by following the standard GDS ticketing process. All HR-169 e-tickets include Securtix® – Hahn Air’s comprehensive insolvency coverage.
Since the launch of speed-alliance® travel agents can book railway connections of the Austrian WESTbahn and the Italian Nuovo Trasporto Viaggiatori (NTV).
The Spanish-based Renfe will be available under the 5W code in the coming days. More information about speed-alliance® partners and their services can be found under the 5W profile on Hahn Air’s website.
