Hahn Air was honoured with the IHK-Unikate award by the Offenbach am Main Chamber of Commerce (IHK) together with nine other companies for their outstanding contributions in terms of special engagement and economic success. To give the awards greater prominence and visibility the IHK decided that for the second year in a row, pictures of the companies’ representatives will be displayed in a permanent exhibition. Representing Hahn Air was the company’s General Director, Kirsten Rehmann, who was photographed for the exhibition.
The opening of the exhibition and the award ceremony took place on 2nd November where Kirsten Rehmann received the IHK-Unikate award from Markus Weinbrenner, Managing Director of IHK.
Within her welcome address, IHK’s Vice President, Helma Fischer, explained: "The companies portrayed as 'Unique Chambers of Commerce' are firmly rooted in the community, investing here, bringing their strengths to the world, training professionals and promoting art, culture, sport and society in an exemplary fashion. In essence, they are ambassadors and honorable figureheads of our region."
The ten recipients for 2017 were Abass GmbH, Langen, Apotheke zum Löwen e.K., Offenbach, ATS Aviation Training Solutions GmbH, Neu-Isenburg, Delta Pronatura Dr. med. Krauss & Dr. Beckmann KG, Egelsbach, Hahn Air Lines GmbH, Dreieich, Mato GmbH & Co. KG, Mühlheim, Möller Horcher Public Relations GmbH, Offenbach, Schoder GmbH, Langen, Spedition Tunc Trans eK, Hainburg and Vectorsoft AG, Heusenstamm.
Managing Director, Markus Weinbrenner explained: “I’m very pleased to introduce so many female top executives this year. They combine professional success, social engagement and family life in a special way. They are highly committed towards the region.” Altogether, more than 40,000 companies are based in the Offenbach region and IHK-Unikate will be supplemented with further portraits in the coming years.
The IHK-Unikate exhibition has now been expanded with the ten new works from 2017 and they can be viewed at the IHK Offenbach between Mondays to Thursdays from 8:00 till 17:00 and Fridays from 8:00 till 15:00.
